During the meeting we’ll discuss your project needs, goals, and ideas, and assess the existing conditions of your space. After the meeting, we’ll provide you with meeting minutes for our reference.

Once we’ve determined the scope of your project, we’ll move on to the design phase. This typically involves conducting a survey of your space and creating preliminary sketches, concepts, and visual boards that incorporate your design goals and budget. Our team will present these concepts to you for review and feedback, and we’ll work together to refine the design until it meets your vision for your space. These sketches and concepts will also include suggestions for colors and materials.

Once we have established a schematic design that meets your needs and preferences, we’ll define the scope of the project and move into the development phase. This phase involves creating detailed drawings and material specifications that will be used to guide the construction process. Throughout this phase, any changes or adjustments are discussed and approved by you before moving forward.

We’ll fine-tune the working drawings with specifications, creating what’s known as the Construction Documents. These documents will guide the construction process, from  measurements to material specifications and installation instructions. In some cases, local municipalities may need to review and grant building permits before construction can begin, and we’ll handle this process on your behalf.

Finally, we’ll stamp and expedite the project through your Department of Building to ensure that everything is in order and construction can begin.

The Construction Documents will be used to obtain bids from contractors who will be hired to build the project. We’ll help you level these bids, taking into account factors such as cost, experience, and reputation.

Ervi Design will act as a client liaison and oversee the job site. Throughout the construction process, we’ll monitor materials and workmanship for quality and craftsmanship to achieve the intended design. We’ll keep you updated on the progress and address any concerns or issues that arise along the way.

As the other steps of your project are taking place, we’ll be preparing and presenting furnishings, wallpapers, drapery, paint colors, stone, hardware, and all other elements of interior design for your approval.

Once you’ve approved the final design, we’ll move forward with purchasing, storing, and delivering all necessary items, including any third-party custom pieces. Our team will coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure that everything is installed and finished to our standards. We’ll also decorate and provide any additional services that may be necessary to complete the project.
